Besh-Tash National Park is a protected natural area located south of Talas city in northwestern Kyrgyzstan. The park lies within the Talas Ala-Too mountain range and features a dramatic landscape of deep valleys, alpine meadows, rocky peaks, and glacial rivers. The park is especially known for the Besh-Tash River, which flows through the valley and forms beautiful turquoise lakes in the upper reaches. The ecosystem is rich and diverse, supporting hundreds of plant species and wildlife such as foxes, marmots, ibex, and even rare snow leopards in higher zones. Due to its relatively low tourist density, Besh-Tash offers a quiet and authentic mountain experience compared to more popular national parks in Kyrgyzstan.
