At-Bashy Range is a major mountain range located in southern Naryn, forming a key section of the central Tian Shan system. It extends toward the Torugart Pass and the Kyrgyz–Chinese border, creating a dramatic transition between high alpine valleys and semi-arid steppe landscapes. The range is characterized by sharp ridges, wide high-altitude basins, and deep valleys shaped by glaciers and seasonal rivers. It surrounds important areas such as the At-Bashy Steppe and Kok-Kiya Valley, leading toward the Kel-Suu Lake trekking zone. This region is sparsely populated and remains one of the most remote mountain systems in Kyrgyzstan. It is important both geographically and historically as part of ancient Silk Road and nomadic migration routes.
