Alamedin Gorge stretches deep into the northern slopes of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range, offering visitors a spectacular combination of untouched nature and accessibility. The valley follows the Alamedin River, which flows from glacial sources high in the mountains. Unlike the more crowded Ala Archa National Park, Alamedin provides a quieter and more intimate mountain experience. The gorge is famous for its scenic trekking routes, summer pastures (jailoo), nomadic yurts, and relaxing hot springs surrounded by pine trees. The altitude ranges from 1,500 meters at the entrance to nearly 4,800 meters at the surrounding peaks. The landscapes change from green valleys and forests to alpine tundra and snow-covered summits. Visitors can enjoy: Easy nature walks Moderate and challenging hikes Horseback riding tours Picnic and photography spots Natural hot springs for relaxation In summer, the valley becomes vibrant with wildflowers and grazing horses. In autumn, golden colors cover the slopes. Winter transforms Alamedin into a peaceful snowy escape.
